Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The best part about studying abroad, was the hands on experience. What we learned about in class was then applied to what we experienced in everyday life. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
They were great |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived with a host family. They were both originally from Salzburg. I loved it. It made the experience that much better. |
* Food: |
Everything was pretty good. It took a while to get use to it, but I loved it by the end. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I wish I could have traveled more or it would have gotten 5 |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Only real problems came with outside traveling. While in Salzburg I never felt "unsafe" |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Language
Language acquisition improvement? |
My host family spoke English and so did everyone at the school, so learning more German was necessary. It did make getting around town easier, but I wish I had been exposed to more German. |
