By Noelle H (Business, Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology) - abroad from 01/19/2015 to 05/08/2015 with
Sant'Anna Institute: Sorrento - Live, Learn and Immerse in Italy
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Don't be afraid to venture out on your own. Be smart, and take care to be cautious, but travelling on your own provides the opportunity to see more that you want to see, but it also allows you to learn more about yourself.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |
