Sant'Anna Institute: Sorrento - Live, Learn and Immerse in Italy

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I absolutely fell in love with Sorrento and everything it had to offer. Coming for the spring semester allowed me to create real friendships with locals because there were no tourists and I could travel on the weekends without missing anything. As it got hotter and classes ended it was the best time and leaving after the semester was the hardest goodbye.

  • Meeting friends I keep in touch with after the program
* What could be improved?
  • The dorm kitchen
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I know now to fully embrace each moment because the semester goes by way too fast! I wish I had packed a little less because I ended up having no room in my suitcase and made sure to have a reusable water bottle because water costs money. The classes were all very adaptable and easy going which I wish I realized earlier in the semester.
