I learned how much I could work, how hard I could work, and how well I could balance work with play. It was absolutely worthwhile.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy groceries. Drink in. Splurge very occasionally. Don't spend all your money on how awesome it is to buy booze under the age of 21 at the beginning. I watched people do this and end the year with actual panic with money issues.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I don't think there's anything that I needed to know. I learned as I went along, and that's the best way.
