yeah, i would say so. I've learned to be more independent.

paris is a cool city. not really because of all the toursity sites but because of the variety you find in each part of the city. it's a fun city to discover. |

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | hmm.. you can keep a student budget in paris if you know how and where and when to shop. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | apply for CAF-- it's govt subsidies for student housing. eat at the CROUS, and there are usually a lot of lunch specials in paris. of course, cheapest is to make your own meals, and supermarkets are your best shot. |
