Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The class everyone takes is kind of a waste of time. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The community on the ship had a "party" dynamic during the summer. I would do a different semester if I could do the program again and avoid the summer voyage. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
You eat a lot of the same things on the ship but it is not awful. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Outdoor activities are the best. Go to museums but don't neglect nature experiences. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt safe in every country. Just use your head. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
