the workload was bearable, grading was like the US, and the educational system did not vary much from that of my home university. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
loved having housekeeping and my room was small but accommodated me nicely. i just wish they had done a better job of pairing me with my roommate. |
* Food: |
The food was delicious but mainly consisted of pasta potatoes and a weak salad bar. meals were on a schedule of breakfast lunch dinner and snack time, and were buffet style. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |

We had an on ship doctor who lectured during pre ports and prepared us very well. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | create a budget and stick to it. but don't be afraid to participate in things that you might not have. don't let a lack of money hinder your experience. |

we learned basic phrases to maneuver around the host countries. words like hotel, bathroom, no thank you, and taxi. |
