What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a significant amount about culture, history, food, folklore, and people. I made so many friends from all over the world. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to experience all the wonderful things this program has to offer.

Food was delicious and so cheap.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Completely, living and taking classes with korean students was integral to learning about the people and culture of South Korea.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Staff was very quick and helpful with all medical issues.

* Safety:

Seoul was the most safe and friendly city I have ever been to.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This program was incredibly fun and immersive and i absolutely hope to attend again and continue learning.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I brought 100 dollars per week with me and i was able to spend almost all of it on fun, instead of necessities.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Food can cost as much or as little as you want it to. I was able to eat for 4 dollars a day and be stuffed. I would occasionally have a fancy meal and spend 40 dollars on dinner. Subway travel is also super cheap and goes everywhere in the city.
