What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I have learned a completely different mindset and way of learning. I also am able to say that I can live overseas in the future. Learning one of the hardest languages in the world opens up so many opportunities for my future.

On average I would spend roughly $100 a week on food. You do have the option to eat on a lighter budget if you need to.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make sure you bring some extra cash for site seeing places. They are relatively cheap, but you should budget them in to your expenses.

For homework assignments we are encouraged to talk with locals and to utilize the language we are learning in the classroom.
