Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was not a very hard class but I learned a lot and I think thats important for a study abroad class. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I thought that we were a bit confused about what the class was going to be like and what was required of us. |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I thought the housing was good considering we were only there for a couple of weeks. |
| * Food: |
We were not provided with any food or meal plan. |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I liked that with the program they had us do a few things together to better understand the culture in Ireland. |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I thought it was a good class to learn about the different health systems and health problems in the world. It was a short class so we couldn't spend too much time on the subject but we touched on a lot. I enjoyed learning about the different health systems. |
| * Safety: |
I felt very safe on campus. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
I liked the class and the work involved and the time off we had to be able to explore the country. |
Finances
|
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Not easy because there wasn't a good grocery store or good cooking utensils on campus and every meal fro two weeks we had to eat out. |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $250 |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I would figure out if there is some sort of meal plan because 90% of the money I spent was on food. |
