You can't really sum up what you "gain/learn" on this program in a little text box on an internet survey, but at the most basic level, how to be flexible and go with the flow, and to chose what is right. So incredibly worthwhile.

Frequent encouragement by the administration, but very few Malagasy people can speak French, so it was difficult to find people with whom to practice. Fairly certain my French skills decreased over the course of the semester. |
