SIT Study Abroad: Madagascar - Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management
There were definitely some grittier/harder moments, but I honestly learned so much and grew a ton during my time abroad. Madagascar is so very different from the US and I had so many opportunities to develop my language skills while meeting people who come from such different walks of life. I feel so much more mature in my desire and willingness to listen, my critical thinking skills, and in my awareness of the world around me. I love talking about my experience to anyone who will listen!

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
