What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much. Not only about myself but also about the Argentine healthcare system. I improved my Spanish immensely through classes and speaking with my host mom and other Argentinians. I also made lifelong friends!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt integrated into the local culture but I had to work hard to seek out opportunities to interact with local students my age.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I didn't find healthcare extremely accessible however when needed students were able to get care. Additionally the Argentine staff know that it is an issue and are working to fix it.

* Safety:

Although the city was generally safe. Petty crime was rampant and I felt on high alert most of the time. However, it did not outweigh the benefits of the program

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program tuition and room and board cover almost everything.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how academically rigorous this program would be. Although I loved the rigor and learned so much from it, I was not expecting it and would have liked to know that in advance.
