Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The great opportunity I encountered studying abroad in Argentina, in the program with SIT Argentina: Social Movements and Human Rights, has changed my life in different ways. To begin with, Argentina it's one, if not, the most politically active country in the region of South America. And for me, to experience at first hand through this well-designed program of SIT how people in Argentina fight for their rights, it was quite an experience. Through this program, we had the chance to visit several areas of the countries, such as the Patagonia area and the Northern side of the country including Rosario, where we were part of the Encuentro Nacional de Mujeres (National Encounter of Women) #Niunamenos. This opportunity was beyond what I was expecting to be, the learning experience as well as the independence study taught me a lot more than what I thought. "Las mejores experiencias suceden en ese momento cuando sos independiente y podés hacer todo lo que tu mente te dice" Get outside of your comfort zone and explore the world, especially those places you wouldn't go for a nice vacation (tourism).
