SIT Study Abroad: Argentina - Social Movements and Human Rights

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I loved my study abroad experience! The program leaders did an excellent job orchestrating immersive learning experiences through visiting indigenous communities, grassroots advocacy initiatives, and international rights organizations. Between our excursions to Patagonia, Salta, and Jujuy, I gained a comprehensive understanding of Argentina as a vast, diverse country. Living with my host family was a wonderful and enriching experience that I will always be grateful for. This program attracts the most interesting, passionate students with whom I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to form connections.
