A transformative experience September 09, 2025
By Anna O (International Studies and Social Work, University of Iowa) - abroad from 02/17/2025 to 06/02/2025 with
SIT Study Abroad: Argentina - Social Movements and Human Rights
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained so much from this program. I have made some of the greatest connections and friendships. I have learned more about the history of Argentina and the United States involvement in the making of the country how it is today. I have learned about Argentina's indigenous population and how they work towards autonomy and recognition. I have learned about myself and how I have become a more independent and adaptable person.
