What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained academic and professional knowledge through my coursework and internship during independent study month. I now have a unique perspective to bring back to my academic endeavors in the US, as well as my future career. I also gained confidence from trying new things and learning to adapt in a new environment.

This program is a great way to become familiar with a region that is often overlooked in traditional study abroad programs. I experienced so many new things and met so many amazing people that I can't imagine my life without now.
