Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

excellent classes, the academic director was very supportive. Spanish classes were helpful and kept me engaged. At first, classes were hard because they were taught in Spanish, but I got used to this after 2 weeks. The only negative (which may not be a negative for some people) is the extreme left-wing bias that the program has. Granted, this is a social justice program, so this is to be somewhat expected. However, I think it would have been nice to hear from people with different opinion, even if I don't necessarily agree with all of them.

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
