Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program had interesting classes and professors where I learned many new things and had many in-depth conversations.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

In some countries the staff was great but I did have difficulty with some staff in different cities but their are many supportive home-country faculty as well.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I had a bad experience with a host parent in one of the countries but in other countries the living arrangements worked fine.

I might have chosen a different set of countries.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
