SIT Study Abroad: IHP - Human Rights: Foundations, Challenges and Advocacy
I learned how to question the current nation-state system as well as the way we approach universal human rights. I have never learned more or been exposed to more in my life. I cannot express how worthwhile this was.

We had three on-site administers because the program travels to three countries. All three country staffs took completely different approaches and were fun and relatable. |

Each housing experience exposed me to different parts of the society we were living in. |

The program is not an immersion program. It is a comparative program. The point is not to integrate into the society's in the short time that you are in them, but to learn with the communities students travel in. However, through dedicated country staff, host families, and language classes I did feel well immersed in each country. |

They take good care of you even when you're sick. |

They give you a stipend for food and transportation. The tuition is VERY expensive, but the experience and the way you get the money back through the experiences and stipends makes it worth it. |
