Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Great reading material. Academically is not though but there is a lot of information thrown at you that is new and thought provoking. Because of the pace of this program having less academic rigor actually turned out to better because it can get overwhelming |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The program could do a better job to facilitate integration given that you move form country to country quickly |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
they need to do a better job in the way they handle mental health policies |
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
I learned a lot and I would not be able to have this same kind of access in each place on my own in the same time but, at least for me, it's a one time thing. Would not do it for a whole year |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
not advertised but the price of this program includes a stipend you get in each country |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 1500-2000 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | use the program's stipend wisely, you can use it for other things other than food and transport, especially in nepal...not so much in Chile and Jordan |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
