What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes. it was all experiential learning. We sadly had a horrible traveling prof. that made the classroom learning non existent. But it also bonded us as a group.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

ACADEMIC rigor was nonexistent, mostly due to our traveling professor. Experiential learning was AMAZING.

This program was the hardest thing I have ever done. I was so burnt out. It was an irreplaceable experience.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? You are going to have a very different experience than those going to Europe. Be aware of that and the FOMO that comes with it.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
