SIT Study Abroad: IHP Food Systems - Agriculture, Sustainability, and Justice
Agroecological farming is the way to go. But also, it really is a life-changing experience! I am so grateful to have gone on this program, pushed beyond my limitations, and learned from so many different people.

My favorite academic aspect was talking to local peoples and communities, visiting their farms/startups/etc, and experiential learning. We took 4 courses throughout the program, and we had guest lecturers from each country. |

Yes
Visiting each country and talking to locals/government workers was really informative. I also loved exploring the cities we were in, etc. However, the program was very rigorous with very little down time and freedom. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
