It was beyond worthwhile! This program is transitioning to have more of a gender/sexuality focus in coming years which I highly recommend!

The level of rigor was perfect for the overall program! The readings and assignments were interesting and relevant, but not too overwhelming. Work did not get in the way of enjoying everything else the program has to offer |

My host family was awesome, and a great match for my personality and needs. We were matched by the homestay coordinator who does a great job. |

I got some vaccines beforehand that I did not end up needing, and could have gotten in India for much cheaper. |

The program is mostly all-inclusive, but I did spend money on culturally appropriate clothing, food outside of the program center and homestay, and gifts and souvenirs for home |
