SIT Study Abroad: Jordan - Geopolitics, International Relations, and the Future of the Middle East
I gained a more nuanced understanding of the region's politics, people and language. You do not simply learn, you experience it.

We learned from academics, politicians, business leaders, and a variety of important people. We also had the chance to learn Arabic and study Jordanian culture in a way not possible in the U.S. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | The program gave us a weekly stipend. I never spent more than the stipend. |
