The staff was extremely responsive to student concerns, as long as we communicated with them. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Host family was amazing. I was in a building with other program participants, but had my own host family. The perfect set up. |

Eating out was expensive, but street food options were incredible. Definitely more meat and rice heavy than I was used to. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
If you go out and put minimal effort into meeting people, it was super easy. Arab hospitality is not to be rivaled! |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
Better health care than I have in the US. |

I felt totally safe on the streets, though I am used to walking on deserted streets at all hours of the day. I was rarely cat-called. |
