Not good in the city, Great in the countryside

Mongolian Cuisine is the worst cuisine I have ever experienced.

Staff did as much as they could, but healthcare is not easily accessible.

* Safety:

I was mugged outside of my apartment, rampant pick-pocketing and violence towards foreigners.

Surprisingly expensive for how poor the country is.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It's worth spending the money to eat food that won't make you sick (i.e. not Mongolian food.)
