Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The ISPJ (independent study period journalism) was the most rewarding part of the experience and completely unique to other study abroad programs. The whole semester was worth it for these 5 weeks of independent research.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The homestays were a little rocky at the beginning with placement, but the teachers are super helpful with speaking to the coordinator and helping you adjust to the very new environment. It's a great way to experience cultural immersion.

Couscous!!

A few people in our program got sick from the village stay but were taking care of accordingly.

* Safety:

It's safe but be aware, especially if you are a woman.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Everything is much cheaper than in the U.S.! Very minimal costs. Great for if you're on a budget.
