My Time in Morocco: Impossible to Condense Past Review
By A student (Anthropology; International and Global Studies, Brandeis University) - abroad from 01/29/2012 to 05/12/2012 with
SIT Study Abroad: Morocco - Human Rights, Social Justice, and Cultural Transformation
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I could write a book about that. It was absolutely worthwhile. Not everything was perfect, but I learned more about myself and the world in a semester there than I usually learn in a year. As everyone knows, study abroad is about experiential learning, and SIT did a fantastic job with the difficult task of integrating academics into experience.

Comments: | Ilham is the worst instructor, you just have to get through it; Abdelhay is the best. The guest instructors go over old material multiple times, you just have to get through it before the interesting stuff. |
