This program has widen my scope on the impacts of war on a community and a country as a whole.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The grading system was very different. The papers were very late in getting back to us after they were graded.

The trip ran smoothly. Our directors were there to help when help was needed.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I was treated well, as a daughter within the family.

host family was very attentive to want i wanted to eat.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The field trips were great, we saw a ton of Uganda.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The healthcare standards in Uganda are subpar to that of the US, however there was never a time that I felt that I was in immediate danger.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

The homestay situation helped with the language emersion. Interacting in the community daily also helped as well.
