SIT Study Abroad: Reviews from Former Locations
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It's a great program, very intense experience studying one topic so in-depth. We had a lot of fun along the way too. You are not supposed to leave Ireland/Northern Ireland during the study abroad program, so this is more of a deep experience in one country than a backpacking across all of Europe experience. We also spent quite a bit of time in class during the day, so it's not your typical college schedule. It was an amazing experience though, and the "experiential learning" style of SIT meant that we did things and met people I never would have had access to normally.
