|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I found my own housing without any help from academic institutions |
* Food: |
I provided for myself with personal funds. No academic institution was involved in my feeding. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I had a plethora of previous connections in the city I studied abroad. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I am a European citizen and therefore used the same public health system I use everywhere else in Europe |
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
based on personal preferences. I focus on nonwestern contemporary art, which is something wellesley doesnt have. The school of oriental and African studies was inarguably the best place to study that. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
a "student's budget"is very subjective and the above description does not really make sense. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | walk everywhere and don't eat a lot |
