What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
yes this was a once in a lifetime experience and i am so greatful that i could be apart of it. i am so pleased when i look around and see the thing that i have and i am thankful for it i have learned to look at things people do from different culture differently and not to be so judgemental.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

there was more focused on theory than we recieve but i really enjoyed going everything was great. their grading scale is totally different from ours and instead of grades they have numbers. their education is fundeed througjh tax dollars although theyre taxed at 50% look at the benefits.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

i thought that they should focus more on nursing practices and not so much the theories. i liked how they have modules and that they are having their clinicals for 10 weeks and that they choose what part of nursing they want to work in.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

since we stayed in the hotel i already knew to bring personal items such as soap and wash clothes it was no different to me than being in a normal hotel except the hotel we stayed in did not have their own face towel i guess its part of their culture to just use thier hands to wash their bodies and dry off with regualr dry off towels.

* Food:

try to sample everything you may be suprised on what you like although it may look different

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

we went bowling with the Danish students and we had a very good time we ate together and mingled it was really great we were very busy and were able to visit 1 museum but we went to lots of different resturants and road the train

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

no need for vaccinations . their healthcare system is differnt because with their taxes being at 50 % they are able to recieve free healthcare compared to ours.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100.00 i wasnt able to get all i wanted but i got everything i needed.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? everything was so expensive so becareful in how much money you take ask yourself do i really want this because a 20 fl. oz coke was 5 american dollars
