YES! gained tons of language skills and cultural perspectives. You will come back wanting to live your life a different & better way.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload was appropriate but the grading system and policies were very unclear.

Strengths- very well planned, felt safe, learned a lot Weakness- grading and expectation for classes were unclear

Quantity of food was way more than necessary but it was sooo good1

Cooking class, museums, cathedrals, going to the markets

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Very safe! Never felt scared but I never walked alone at night or anything like that either. Professors were willing to help us in any healthcare situation if it came up. No vaccines needed.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? No unanticipated expenses; plan on having money to buy snack because lunch and dinner are much later than the are in the U.S. I spent about $1500 (including weekend trip to Madrid) but I also bought a lot of souvenirs and food
