The international office was absolutely fantastic.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I stayed with a host family and had a wonderful experience.

My host mother fed me and I stayed very healthy and felt well fueled.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I was in classes with only other exchange students, so I didn't feel very integrated with my spanish peers at the university.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Read books, watch movies, and listen to music prior to departure. Also avoid Americans like the plague if you want to master your Spanish.
