Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I had an amazing experience in Spain. It was cheap, educational, fun and a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would suggest taking advantage of their communication exchange program and getting to know the locals. A host family is hard to get used to, because the Spaniards are culturally cold and rude as opposed to the Mexican culture we are used to in New Mexico with warm and inviting people. Be very careful of your belongings! Spain has one of the worst tendencies for theft and it happened to me while I was over there. |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The host family I had was not at all what I was expecting. They were treated me like I was only there to pay for their next vacation. The Mom had children my age and they never offered to take me out or introduce me to any of their friends or accquaintences. |
