Spain Study Abroad Reflections: Comprehensive Reviews of Past Programs

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile because I learned a lot. I got to experience the real Spanish culture and loved it. I loved getting to know locals and their ways, most definitely feeling integrated into their culture. I am very grateful with my host family for making me feel as if I was part of the family. I will definitely go back to visit! I am grateful for this opportunity to build friendships with people from all over the world!

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
