Food was cheap and I didn't have to spend much money on it. But traveling is where the expenses got high. When I traveled to outside countries it was harder not to spend money because I wanted to experience the culture to the fullest! But it's easy to save more money/spend less with hostels and cheaper options like street food. It's definitely possible! For me it was just different because I would spend more than usual on food or hostels or plane tickets. |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
