Going abroad may seem daunting, but it's an amazing experience for growth. I have become so much more confident in my Spanish speaking and personal life, and have gained a broader world view.

Living with a host family is a must!

I have celiac disease, thus food can often be a challenge for me. My host family and program were super understanding and worked with my needs.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

My biggest fear going into my experience was getting sick abroad. Although I did indeed get sick during my time abroad, I found it was not as difficult to manage as I had feared. My host mom and friends were happy to help, and my directors were super helpful and readily available if I needed to go to the doctor.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

My experience with Sol in Granada was phenomenal!
