Personal Information
How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 1 month - 6 months |
Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
As I was doing an internship I didn't have any experience with the grading system, teaching methods or other insights to the educational system. But the workload was good, not too much or too little, varying and exciting. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The support services was good; if I needed something or had a question it was easy to get help. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
The food was great. Lots of tapas restaurants and gelaterias around every corner. They're all open till late so if you want to get some late night snack theres always something to find! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
International students (and non-internationals) from all over the world met up for karaoke-night or other theme-nights at local bars to sing, talk and meet new people. Great way to learn about other cultures and hear good stories. The City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia is an outstanding experience. A place you definitely need to check out while you're there; take your time and check out the different sections/buildings, you won't be able to finish all in one day! |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I didn't need any vaccines prior to the internship. Keep your apartment/room clean -you might experience some visitors ( cockroaches) if you don't. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
