The courses I took were very interesting. I am glad I took them and was able to get credit for all but one course. The course load was not as demanding as a Barnard course load, but the material challenged me both intellectually and as an individual. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The dorms were accommodating. It was an adjustment getting used to the dorm rules and regulations of this very traditional institution. I stayed on-campus in an underclassman hall. Though it was sometimes annoying hearing the woes of freshman and sophomores, I was lucky to have a great roommate who was willing to fill me in on life at Spelman. |

It was an adjustment to get used to the heavier foods that were served at the dining hall. The dining hall had a basic variety of hot, home-style food, salad bar, sandwiches and a stir-fry station. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
It was a plus to have friends who attended the school with cars. They were able to show me around with greater ease than taking the Marta. Going to parties and clubs was also easier as a result of students with cars as well. |
