Personal Information
How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 0-2 weeks |
Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload wasn't too bad. We had a presentation to do in front of the students and professors which we had to research and put together. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
It thought that the program gave me, an American, a real sense of how our justice system is view by people of other countries. The professors from other countries were very knowledgeable and the students were too on things that happen in the US. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
In Croatia it wasn't very big but we did not spend much time there but it definitley served its purpose as a place to sleep, shower, and eat. As we traveled Europe we stayed in hotels which most were very clean and nice. |
* Food: |
Most places were very good. We tried to stick with places that were cheap and they still were good. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
We saw a lot of interesting things in every country. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
No one had a health incident and we were all given instructions on how to contact people if we needed any assistance. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | about $150 US dollars |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | You can basically spend as much or as little as you want. You can choose to go out every night or stay home. You can choose to eat out or buy food and eat at home. You will need some money to spend on things but a student could prabably get by on much less than I did. |
Language
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? | none |
