By A student (Public Safety Executive Leadership, St. Cloud State University) - abroad from 07/18/2012 to 08/14/2012 with
St. Cloud State University: Ireland & United Kingdom - Criminal Justice Summer Program
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worth while. I learned about the different cultures. I learned that what is common practice in the United States is not common practice in other countries. I learned how to adjust and be flexible on a busy schedule.

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
