It was a study tour, so the educational aspect came mostly from experience and discussions. However, we did have to keep a journal and write a research paper when we returned. |

We were very integrated...we did not do typical "tourist" things. |

Our professor made sure we were as safe as possible the entire trip without smothering us and taking away from the experience of being independent. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | India is very cheap so it is pretty easy to save money there. Plus, bargaining is always an option. |

We learned a lot of easy Hindi phrases but I never really needed to use them. |
