ART 485 / 585Italian art from 1300 to 1600. This course will be conducted in Italy and focus on Florentine Renaissance art, which will be studied first-hand and on-site, with daily visits to churches, museums, palaces and outdoor plazas in Florence, a day-trip to Siena, Florence’s rival in the 1300s, and 2 1/2 days in Rome. 
ART 497 / 597  Studio art creation in one of the SFA art concentrations during and after travel to Florence, Italy, with companion course: ART 485 / 585 Renaissance Art.
