About
SFA’s summer program in France offers students the opportunity to improve their French language skills and experience contemporary French culture first hand, both inside and outside the classroom. For the first three weeks, students will live with a host family in Dijon, allowing them to interact with native French speakers on a daily basis. In the mornings, after enjoying a croissant or fresh bread with jam with their families, students will attend classes taught by native speakers. Two afternoons a week, students will go on excursions, exploring the city of Dijon and the region of Bourgogne. Students will spend the last week of the program in Paris, where they will visit museums, historical sites, the theater, and take a tour of the Seine on a bâteau mouche. This program will be much more than a trip to France; it will be an educational experience from which students will profit linguistically, culturally, and personally for a lifetime.
