What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I feel I learned a lot about the European culture. Yes, it was definitely worth the trip.

Overall, the experience was a great one! I learned a lot about fashion, european culture, history and lifestyle.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

In Italy, Hatice was great! She went above and beyond to help us feel welcome. If our group had questions she would find the answer for us and let us know in a timely manner. In France, Fatima was very helpful and friendly. Overall, on-site administration was great.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

In Italy, the hotel was nice. The lobby was nicer than the rooms. However the rooms were managable. In France, the hotel was above my expectations. The lobby was very nice and the rooms were nicer. I would recommend for future trips to stay at that hotel.

* Food:

In both countries, I had no complaints. The food was amazing!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt it was hard to feel totally blended with the culture being in a large group. However, when we had free time I felt like there were more oportunities to mingle and blend with with local culture.

* What did you like most about the program?
  • the scheduled activities. Especially the fashion tours (louis vuitton and marc jacobs exhibit).
* What could be improved?

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I knew we would have free time but I was not sure how much. I wish that we would have gotten the itenerary earlier so we could plan our free time better.
