Classes will be held in Nacogdoches for the first two weeks of the Summer I term. At this time, students will read and discuss significant works of Irish drama and study major events in the history of Ireland and Irish Theatre. Pre-requisites: Sophomore standing; ENG 132 and THR 162 with grades of C or better or permission of Instructor. Activities: At least three professional theatre productions in Dublin and Galway; Seminars with local scholars and arts professionals; Historical Walking Tours; Tours of the Abbey and Smock Alley Theatres; The Book of Kells and the Long Room; The Cliffs of Moher; and more!
