What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a great insight on the Costa Rican culture, and a new respect for those who are struggling to learn a new language. I also gained an appreciation for beauty, nature, and peace. The land was beautiful, as were the people. I came back to Texas with a new outlook on life; one that is less stressful and more thankful.
