Study Abroad Programs in Argentina
I learned so much. Before I left I had a lot of fear about speaking in Spanish and within a day or two I was practically fluent.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload was extremely too much, we were unable to enjoy our time. We did not get out of class until 5pm and by that time we were incredibly tired and had tons of homework to do so being able to go out and explore the city was out of the question. The grading system and education system were the same as at TU because it was a TU program. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
GIC was amazing, they went above and beyond the expected. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
My house was close to the school and other things, but if you went too far on one side then you ended up in a bad part of town. I didn't have to buy anything for the house except for washing detergent that I used to wash my own clothes. |
* Food: |
If you love meat, then this is the place for you! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I loved the gaucho farm and the trip to Colonia, Uruguay! I also loved going to all the museums. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
The city was about as safe as NYC so just be aware of your surroundings and your possessions. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
